On the afternoon of 10/21, A shift was toned out to another report of a structure fire in belleview. Dispatch advised that the homeowner arrived to find the house full of smoke. All occupants were safe and outside, however 4 pets were still inside. E30 & R30 arrived to find a 1400 sq ft. single story residence with moderate smoke showing. E18 had deployed a 150' preconnect and went inside the Alpha/Delta corner to make initial attack. FF Brent Murray and FF Tim Hunter were instructed to cut a vent hole over the fire. Vent job was performed using the K12 which allowed the interior crew to have increased visibility and assist stopping the fire spread. Unfortunately, all four of the pets had passed away in the fire.
