On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 30th, E30 & R30 were toned out for a traffic accident at the intersection of S Hwy 441 & SE 135th St. On arrival E30 took command and found a semi tractor trailer had broadsided a Toyota Prius. Per the F.H.P. report a elderly female was driving the Prius and pulled out in front of the semi, not giving it enough time and a collision was unavoidable. As a result of the collision, the 74 year old female driver of the Prius was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver of the semi was evaluated and released on scene.
